Located in the popular area of Bugis, the Rochor Centre is one of the oldest public housing in Singapore. But here in S'pore everything is meant to be replaced at one point and the colourful estate will soon disappear to give space for a new road.
Althought I was not born in this city neither in the region, you can still feel the vibe of an old Kampong and the weird feeling that a page of history will be turned soon. Some uncles and aunties still live in this place, now filled with videographers and photographers trying to immortalize the vibrant rainbow-like colours (I am part of them :)).
And this is a sign that the old Singapore has still a lot to share with us. RIP.
